About This Website:
>This is my personal website, self hosted(kinda) and self coded. It also services my @justjackson.net mail server under the same domain.
>The creation of this website was mainly inspired by Aztrosist/Astrid and her work on Insect.Christmas. It's what I hope this website can be one day, both in style and function as a way to express myself.
>In an increasingly centralized and corporate internet, this website exists in defiance of that.
>No longer constrained by character limits and the subtle conformity imposed by modern social media platforms, this is where I can express my thoughts, feelings, and desires. An unfiltered expression of self.
>Naturally, this website will never really be complete. As I add new elements or content, they may break the website for certain devices or web browsers. If you encounter any issues please let me know.
Changelog:
>Jan '23: Website is established with basic functionality, basic homepage with cluttered table of contents page sloppily embedded in main with links that led nowhere.
>Oct '24: Finally motivated to work on website again after a year+ of negligence. Update table of contents with Breakdown Stageworks instead of Anthrotech, my other failed side project. Mail server programmed and working with all major email hosts incl. apple and google accepting mail from my domain. Breakdown Stageworks own website and mail server programmed, running on separate VM hardware than justjackson.net.
>Dec '24: Removed terrible table of contents section, replaced with a responsive navbar, still being tinkered with to work with all screen sizes and web browsers. Added "about", "changelog", and "todo" sections to home page.
>Jan '26: Refreshed website theming, About Me page redone, links updated, general improvements.
To Do:
>Create a links page that isn't a linktree.
>Create new /now page.
>Create new /thoughts page as a pseudo-diary.
>Flesh out Breakdown Stageworks/lighting portfolio website, create css theme and organize a page layout.
